Materials
When we laser etch, we are basically painting with the laser beam. The laser marks with white dots(lots of them) . Different intensities of the beam create different shades and you end up with a spectacular black & white photographic image that is "forever etched" onto the chosen material. What it really does is remove the high polish on the material by hitting it with a 0.003 inch diameter laser bursts until the image is complete. (That can take a while). On wood, the laser marks by actually burning the image into the wood.
